Use of Lokaal Mailing Address | Terms and Conditions

Use of our mailing address is included only for our full-time, dedicated desk or private office members. Non-members may sign up for our Mail Service Plan for $30+HST/mo to use our mailing address for incoming letter mail only. Payment is made by valid credit card and will be charged automatically every month. Should you wish to terminate your plan, you may do so at any time by sending an email to work@lokaal.space or by calling our office at 416-613-0512. This must be done at least 48 hours before your next monthly renewal. No refunds will be provided once the monthly charge is made.

How it works:

Lokaal will receive your letter mail and hold it for you to collect for up to 30 days. If it is uncollected after 30 days you will receive an email reminder to collect it within 5 business days after which it will be couriered to your address on file (and fees charged as per below). The Use of Mailing Address plan is not a bulk mail or package handling service. Lokaal is not responsible for securing incoming packages that do not fit into the letter box and is not accountable in any way for lost, missing or stolen packages. We will levy a $10 fee for handling any incoming oversize package up to 1 cubic foot ($20/box for boxes larger than 1 cu.ft.). We have limited space to hold packages. If you request us to forward mail or a package by courier, we charge $20 plus the cost of the courier (domestic addresses only). Extra charges will be billed to your credit card on file typically before the package is sent just like at the post office. If the card on file declines and we are unable to reach you within 5 business days, your mailing address plan will be cancelled and all mail collected will be sent “return-to-sender”.

Lokaal reserves the right to refuse receipt of packages and/or to cancel your right to use the Lokaal Mailing Address at our discretion should we feel it is being abused or used for illegal activities or nefarious purposes. Should we discover any illegal use, we will give you up to authorities without question. That’s just how we roll here.

Acknowledgement of Terms:

Lokaal will require a copy of photo ID (drivers license, passport or other government photo ID with your address) that matches the information in the form you will complete below. If registering on behalf of a company, a copy of your articles of incorporation or business registration may be used. Please email to work@lokaal.space.
