Join us in-person Wednesday, October 19th for an energizing evening featuring a panel of inspiring innovators who will share wisdom on how to (imperfectly) get done what most needs to get done in the least exhausting and most fulfilling way.
Join Lokaal’s community of impact-driven creatives, freelancers and entrepreneurs for networking and an energizing panel talk and Q&A moderated by The Momentum Coach & Journalist Natalie Ruskin on this theme:
Mindset & tools to thrive: how to refocus and find fulfillment in work
(aka: how to improve your workflow hygiene)
Schedule | doors open 7:15pm, introductions at 7:30pm, Panel discussion 7:45pm-8:30pm, networking & socializing 8:30-9pm (refreshments throughout)
At the heart of this evening will be a no-BS panel convo with successful self-starters (aka get-sh*t-doners) on how they maximize their limited bandwidth with joy and efficiency.
Our panelists will share inspiring anecdotes, tips and tools for:
How to optimize time/energy management
How to stay focused, centred and motivated throughout the day
How to effectively move through the “stuck” periods we all inevitably face at some point
Moderated by coach, mindfulness teacher and journalist Natalie Ruskin who will guide us through practices to stay present and reignite our passion for purposeful work.
WHY | Because...
we’re all trying to get our groove back, Stella.
it’s been two years of start-stop and we’re chomping at the bit, hollering a collective now or never.
solo-ing it is overrated. When we connect with other humans who share our passion for doing our own thing, we feel energized and discover how to stay in it, focused on the nitty-gritty, and connected with our purposeful work.
we all could benefit from the support, tools, and mojo from each other to help us stay the course.
you ROCK! Running a business is hard work and sometimes it's just great to be with people who get it!
Complimentary Gift Bag: a selection of SWAG from our friends at All is Well Tea, Ecoexistence, Modo Yoga and The Momentum Coaching.
Limited to 20 seats. FREE admission | Please only sign up if you know that you can commit to attending.

Today - as a certified coach, mindfulness teacher and positive intelligence enthusiast - Natalie imperfectly practices what she preaches to help other reformed overachievers find their most satisfying and sustainable version of success. When not coaching clients, you can find Natalie in Lokaal at her window seat - writing, reading or staring out at the horizon with awe and gratitude for where she is today. www.NatalieRuskin.com
JASON SARRACINI is the founder and CEO of Landsby, a new Canadian tourism company where Canada is the destination. Landsby may be the latest and greatest stop on the travel scene but, for Jason himself, leading a travel company is not new. He's been leading travel and lifestyle industries for over 20 years and, from an early age, was exposed to the majesty of travel through his grandfather who ran his own travel business. Jason has been part of two successful startup exits, one as the founder of Target Vacations in 2012 and the other as a senior team member of Umapped in 2018. The Landsby office is headquartered in Lokaal where Jason travels (by foot) most days -- except when he is traveling by white water raft, train, or gondola to explore Canada's diverse lands.
NEHA CHARNALIA is the Co-Founder and CEO of SwitchGrocery, an online specialty grocery store which serves and delivers food products to Canadians living keto, paleo, vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free lifestyles. Neha is a CPA, CA and spent 13 years in accounting and finance before she started her company. Neha loves anything related to food, business, e-commerce, serving customers and colleagues, friendships and having some fun doing it all.
She generously gives time to speak with aspiring entrepreneurs about her journey into e-commerce and how she navigates parenting life while running a start-up. Neha’s energy bounces off the walls of Lokaal where she comes to get her focused work done.
